Oh, and one thing I almost forgot: PPG's Arena address (their corporate HQ in Pittsburgh) might seem irrelevant, but for us, having a US-based headquarters with domestic manufacturing capacity meant shorter supply chains and more predictable logistics. That matters when you're calculating TCO across multiple quarters.

Bottom line: If I were managing a $250,000 coatings budget today, I'd allocate about 70-80% to PPG products—specifically for all mission-critical and high-variance applications. The remaining 20-30% could go to generic alternatives for non-critical, simple tasks. That split maximizes cost efficiency without introducing unnecessary risk.
